Ideal for use as road cases while shipping equipment to trade shows, arenas and other venues, the traveling cases are sturdily constructed and also come with 4 casters that can be easily installed if needed. The cable trunks can also be equipped with a foam lining or stacking wheel plates. For extra durability, the track pack cases also have protected corners.     I have several cases from a number of vendors. This case was well built and designed. The Caster installation was a problem. The Casters themselves were very good quality, but you were left with two unfinished boards and a sheet of instructions to drill some holes, not a recipe for 100% success. I managed to install them. I received a similar cabinet from another company just today and they predrilled the holes and had a finished pice of wood. Good case for the money if you don't mind a little DIY.

    I was not aware that there were cases of this size and quality for this price on the market, I have seen cases like this used for $500.00 ! ! . Brand new $379.00 with free shipping is unbelievable. I wasn't expecting this level of high quality (no offence to these guys) because of the price, but this trunk is gorgeous and of high quality

    The case arrived within a few days after ordering, great service on shipping. They provide high quality casters for this case, once I installed them I was amazed how smooth the case rolled across the floor. We already used it for a couple shows last weekend, we used it for Cable, powered speakers, and speaker stands. We will definitely be buying more of these in the future as well as other cases from these guys.

  3. Bang for the buck trunk!

    This case gets 5 stars simply because of it's build quality and durability vs. price.

    We use ours for regional production and touring up and down the east cost. We do approx. 200 shows a year with this trunk, and it is still going strong.

    The casters are surprisingly good for a trunk of this price (or any price)

    Highly recommended for small PA companies like ours or small bands/DJs.

    We also have some of the cube shaped smaller trunks, and those are great too!

    After searching for an affordable source for cable trunks, I found this one. While it's only 3/8" ply, this is a good cable trunk for small regional production companies or DJs.

    Solid construction, and quality hardware make for a great case. I just ordered my 2nd and will be ordering more in the future.

    The hardware provided to mount the casters is a little long, but nothing a Dremel and cutoff wheel can't fix.

    It would be nice if there was an option to upgrade this to 1/2" ply or to swap out 2 of the regular casters for locking casters.
