The case is constructed of 1/4" plywood with a heavy weight black vinyl laminate surrounded in aluminum extrusion and permanently machine split riveted together. It is then finished with high quality spring loaded recessed latches and a strong surface spring handle. All hardware is plated for protection against corrosion.

*Note - The die-cut insert is not specific for any acoustic brand guitar. It is a generic cutout made to fit many dreadnaught body shapes reasonably well. Some modifications may be necessary.
