Great case, the price is even better, it has a small gap at the top which is awesome for air flow

My wife needed protection for her ampeg head that was tuff and not to deep. This thing fits it perfect . Very happy

Exactly what I was looking for without breaking the bank!

I purchased this two space rack for my guitar effects unit and Korg tunner. Works great, light weight, protects the gear as it should. I'm very happy with it!

    More than I expected

To be honest , at the price I paid for this rack I wasn't sure what to expect. Once it arrived (also earlier than expected) my first reaction was a WOW, followed by 2 OH,MANs. Forgive the hyperbole but the rack is very well constructed and stout enough for heavy use. The kind of purchase you feel good about.

Great for the price, but with one unfortunate flaw.

This is a great deal compared to the competition and it's almost a perfect buy except for one little detail that I've come across. This complaint is due to the fact that the insides of the box are about 1/2" larger on all sides than standard rack gear, so there is a 1/2" gap between your gear and the inside interior of the rack. That would actually be advantageous because it allows for airflow on the outside of your gear. However, because it's only 3/8" ply the box sags over time and becomes a concave surface. It became a problem for me because I was using this rack for my remote audio interfaces and would rest my Macbook on the top surface. Now the Macbook no longer sits level on the top of the rack. Not a big deal for probably most of you, but in the future, I may choose to pay more for either a thicker plywood or a case without a big gap for the equipment.

Other than that, I love this case. The aluminum hardware, although a little less durable than the usual steel, makes it a little lighter which I prefer. The back rack rails are a great plus. The latch hardware is all top quality, comparable to what you'd expect from the far more expensive Anvil/Calzone cases. The depth is perfect for the longer Avid Omni interfaces which were a little too long for the standard 12" deep racks.

Incredible deal for a high quality product. Just beware of the one drawback I've explained here and determine if it's worth the price to pay for something which doesn't have this issue.
