These 44" Cable Trunk Super Duty Case Kit is an extra high trunk case kit, with panels shipped flat so that shipping costs are kept low. The utility cases are easy to assemble and come with all the hardware already attached to the panels, so there is no need for you to drill any additional holes. Built with quality, durable materials and featuring many additional construction elements that ensure the cable trunks are well suited for storage and transport, these trunk cases also allow for additional storage options, such as a foam or carpet lined interior. The utility cases also come with casters to aid in portability. *Note - please do not mistake this case for a conventional ATA case with aluminum trim. There is NO aluminum trim on the perimeter of this case. All edges are bare wood, routed round, and sanded. The case is assembled with thick gauge steel fittings which are bolted on with T-Nut fasteners. This is how the case is held together and is a very strong neccessary process to make the case in "kit form".

    Pleased with final product

Posted by Unknown on 9th Aug 2013

First time buyer and pleased with the results. After doing a lot of due diligence prior to ordering the case, I was very satisfied that it arrived early and with zero damage. Assembling went smooth and there are a couple small fit and finish items that could be improved, but overall I couldn't ask for anything better for the price.

    Great Cases

Posted by Unknown on 16th Jul 2013

We ordered 7 of these cases for our church which loads in and out of venues every week. We had a crew of 7 guys and 3 power drills and knocked all 7 out in less than two hours. (We only had one wrench which slowed us down.) These are easy to build and they are good quality. You can even order stacking wheel plates to go on top of the lids. I highly recommend these if you think you will be having to stack the cases. The only trouble we had was there were one or two of the pre-drilled holes that didn't line up with the brackets so we drilled our own and some of the T nuts that were in the wood would fall out as we were putting in the screws. Nothing a tap with the hammer didn't solve. We will be buying more in the next few months.

    Solid Cable trunk

Because it's an Alternative style it's not as pretty as the full price cable trunks, However it is half the price. The construction is solid, with 1/2 inch wood. Easy to assemble. My only complaint would be that the top was a little too tight and it was digging into the vinyl a little bit. Overall it rolls well and is the best bang for your buck that I could find.
